The Living Wage & Living Income Directory is a publicly accessible, searchable resource that maps organisations working on living wages and living income around the world. It brings together actors across the global movement in one place, making it easier to find who is working on what, and where.
Why this exists
The living wage movement has grown significantly in recent years, but knowledge of who is doing what remains fragmented. Organisations working on similar issues in overlapping geographies often have little visibility of each other. This directory addresses that gap by creating a shared, maintained map of the ecosystem, supporting connection, collaboration, and collective impact.

Each entry describes an organisation's focus, geography, and approach to living wages or living income. You can search and filter by organisation type, region, sector, and topic to find relevant actors for your work.

How to be included
Any organisation working on living wages or living income can submit an entry using the registration form on this page. Submissions are reviewed before being published. Existing entries can be updated at any time by contacting us directly.

The directory is updated on a rolling basis as new submissions are reviewed and approved. Entries are monitored for quality and relevance over time, and organisations can request updates to their listing at any time by contacting us directly.
A collective effort
The living wage and living income movements have each developed important tools for mapping their ecosystems. The Living Wage Foundation's Global Explorer, built together with Living Wage for Us, ShareAction, the UN Global Compact, and the World Benchmarking Alliance, was a pioneering effort to make the global living wage landscape visible and navigable. In the living income space, the Living Income Community of Practice has been a key convening platform for the living income movement working collaboratively with a range of partners to scale action. The GIZ-supported ALIGN tool has helped accelerate action on living income and living wages by providing companies with practical guidance, a resource library, and a source map that brings together key data, and benchmarks in one place. These tools reflected a genuine commitment to transparency and collective action, and the organisations and networks behind them have done foundational work in connecting the movements we see today.
IDH has brought these efforts together into a single directory, in partnership with the Living Wage Foundation and LiCOP, to serve both communities in one place. The directory creates a shared home for the full ecosystem, supporting the connections and collaboration that both movements need to grow.
